Magic Presents: Heart of the Mountain is a casual Commander (EDH) variant event from Wizards of the Coast tied to The Hobbit expansion release. Players battle to control the Arkenstone emblem, and the first player to accumulate three ownership counters during their upkeep wins the game.

How the Event Rules Work

The Arkenstone: The first player to deal combat damage to an opponent becomes the initial owner of the Arkenstone.

Stealing Control: You can claim the Arkenstone emblem by dealing combat damage to its current owner, which grants you unique in-game bonuses.

Winning the Game: During your upkeep, if you currently control the Arkenstone, your ownership count increases by one. Reach an ownership count of three to win.
